Data organization of mastery-based learning standards

Problem Description

We have this push to use data driven instruction but nothing to organize our data all in one place. We use mastery connect, which gives us color coded visuals of what the students need remediation on by standard. So Green is mastered, yellow is near mastery, and red is remediation. It’s all divided by standards and substandards, but it’s hard to break down unless we sit and stare for hours.

Proposed Solution

It would be nice if the data could be inserted into like a Google spreadsheet or something that breaks down like “student A needs remediation on Standard 7.NS.1: perfect squares | common misconceptions include: …” and put the students into groups based on what they are all struggling with. Like Group A needs remediation in 7.NS.1 and list the students. Something to help automatically organize data would be so helpful because it currently takes soooo much time
